Terra Mítica will open two of its areas on 3 July
The fun returns to Terra Mítica. Committed to its customers and good entertainment, Benidorm’s theme park is beginning its own “lifting of restrictions,” offering the best of fun in two of its emblematic themed areas: The Las Islas Island Area and Iberia. These two areas are home to the best family and children’s attractions, in addition to adrenaline-filled rides like Cólera de Aquiles (“Achilles’ Cholera”) and the most refreshing proposals for the summer season, with the largest open-air spa area: more than 1,700 square meters outdoors with all kinds of special features (like water relaxation areas, fountains, waterfalls, etc.).
In Iberia are the rides for the little ones like Clepsidra, Tentaculus, Anilus, and Synkopin, in addition to Jabato, which consists of bumper cars for the kids to show off their driving skills. What’s more, this latter ride has a version for the “grownups,” Arietes, where parents and their children will ride atop mythological animals.
The Las Islas Island Area features the Rapids of Argos, one of the star attractions of the leisure complex: some really fun boats that go down the river while spinning and bumping around from side to side. And, for those seeking strong emotions, there is La Cólera de Aquiles (“Achilles’ Cholera”). Additionally, the magic of mythology shines through in Mithos, the wonderful carousel where the little ones can enjoy a ride on a unicorn or a centaur.
In addition, these two large areas house full-scale auditoriums to accommodate the most surprising shows without sacrificing the necessary health safety measures. Among the new features, noteworthy is the multidisciplinary show entitled Iroko, which is put on in Barbarossa’s Auditorium, in Iberia. Acrobats, dancers, swimmers, and many other artists from a myriad of disciplines will delight the audience. What’s more, Iroko is an example of fulfilling the Business Group’s needs – a Group that has been focused for some time now on offering the best entertainment coupled with social responsibility; just as is the case of Mundomar, the Group’s nature park that is committed to the environment.
In addition, Pandora’s Auditorium, in the Las Islas Island Area, has proven to be the ideal space to show off some magic in a performance designed for all audiences, but in which the smallest members of the family will be the real protagonists. The aim this season is to provide the best of fun for all visitors, from morning to night, doing so every day of the season through many other complementary activities that will take place in the vicinity of Grand Luxor Hotel and Grand Luxor Village, as well as in the other parks that belong to the Business Group such as Aqualandia and Mundomar. Activities in the Las Islas Island Area and Iberia will get off to a start at 11:00 a.m.
